Welcome to Sunshine Beach Surf Life Saving Club

Sunshine Beach Surf Life Saving Club is a not-for-profit community organisation run by volunteers dedicated to protecting members of the public who surf and swim at Sunshine Beach, one of the best open beach surfing breaks in Queensland.

Commencing its first patrols in the season of 1980/1981, Sunshine Beach offers opportunities for Active Members, Nippers, Cadets, Youths, Surf Sports and Masters. Patrols are performed every weekend and on Public Holidays between the September school

holidays through to the May Day weekend between 7.00am to 5.00pm with extended hours through the busy Christmas period to 6.00pm.

Council Lifeguards patrol the beach at all other times.

Our Licensed Club enjoys unparalleled views and offers great food, drinks and entertainment with members enjoying a wide range of discounts. The Ocean Deck at the Surf Club is one of the great places in South East Queensland to enjoy a meal or a social drink, and our Sunday Live Music Sessions are well renowned.
