Active membership is for Lifesavers, Nippers and Nipper Parents/Guardians (at least one Parent must join). Annual membership commences on 1st August each year. Lifesavers patrols from the first weekend of the September School Holidays until the May Day long weekend. Nippers sign-on early in September, start activities when our patrols commence and finish in March at the culmination of the junior competitive season.
To become an Active member simply complete the following forms and return them to Club Reception with payment of annual fees. Fees may change from year to year please check with Club Reception for current prices.
- Active Membership Application Form (one per person)
- Medical, Media & Consent Form (one per family)
- Transfer Form (for anyone who has ever been a member of another surf life saving club)
- Payment Form (one per family)
All members 18 years or older must also hold a Bluecard; select an application form from the choice below:
- Volunteer application – new card or renewing
- Exemption for teachers and police officers
- Authorisation to confirm a blue card with another organisation
Choosing to become a Nipper or a Lifesaver at our Club will provide you with the opportunity to take advantage of our regular professional fitness training and to compete in surf lifesaving competitions. We also have a fully appointed gymnasium and plenty of surf equipment that you can use to hone your lifesaving skills. Club information is distributed via email and our “Sea Eagle” newsletters, which are specifically for Active Members. Reminders regarding patrol roster duties are sent via SMS.
