Active Membership

Active membership is for Lifesavers, Nippers and Nipper Parents/Guardians (at least one Parent must join). Annual membership commences on 1st July each year. Lifesavers patrols from the first weekend of the September School Holidays until the May Day long weekend. Nippers sign-on early in September, start activities when our patrols commence and finish in March at the culmination of the junior competitive season.

To become an Active member simply complete the following forms and return them to Club Reception with payment of annual fees. Fees may change from year to year please check with Club Reception for current prices.

All members 18 years or older must also hold a Bluecard; select an application form from the choice below:

Choosing to become a Nipper or a Lifesaver at our Club will provide you with the opportunity to take advantage of our regular professional fitness training and to compete in surf lifesaving competitions. We also have a fully appointed gymnasium and plenty of surf equipment that you can use to hone your lifesaving skills. Some conditions apply; talk to our Gear Steward if you would like to find out more about borrowing club gear.

Club information is distributed via email and our “Sea Eagle” newsletters, which are specifically for Active Members. Reminders regarding patrol roster duties are sent via SMS.

We know that joining the Surf Lifesaving movement is one of the most rewarding things that you can do for yourself and maybe even for the life of someone else. It takes a special kind of person to volunteer their time and energy for the safety of others and we look forward to having you on our team!
