Surf Sports

Put your Skills & Fitness to the Test

Surf sports competition offers every member the chance to test their skills and fitness against the very best lifesavers from around the country at local, state and interstate carnivals.

To compete at Surf Sports carnivals whether beach, water or multi-discipline events every athlete must have the minimum qualification of a proficient Bronze Medallion (Surf Rescue Certificate for U15 competitors) and must meet the patrol hour requirements and patrol team obligations of their membership category. View the club handbook for details of eligibility.

Sunshine Beach Surf Life Saving Club is proud to have a number of champions that call our Club home.

We continually strive to provide the best possible training and development  for all levels of athletic ability and commitment. To this end the Club offers professional coaching in a variety of disciplines and all members are encouraged to participate.
