Active members: Lifesavers from 13+ years, Long Service & Life Members. All adults must hold a Blue Card (see below)
Associates: Parents/guardians of Junior members. At least one parent/guardian must join and hold a Blue Card (see below)
Juniors members: U7-U14 (age at midnight on 30th September). Sign-on for new members will be held on Saturday 1st September and Sunday 9th September 10:30am-1:00pm at Noosa Aquatic Centre. Bring togs, towel, goggles and evidence of age for your child (Birth certificate or passport). Club uniforms will also be available for purchase at sign-on.
Annual Membership is due by 1st August and includes:
Affiliation with Surf Life Saving Queensland and Surf Life Saving Australia
Supporters Club membership with reciprocal rights (18yrs+ only) at other Surf Clubs & some other QLD Clubs
Every person must have their own individual account even children under 18 years.

Membership fees, Levies and Hire fees for 2018/19 are due 31st July 2018. We look forward to welcoming you all back to the beach. If you are unsure as to which membership category, levy or hire fee may be applicable to you, please open the fees and levies attachment. This year we have made renewal even easier, by creating an online payment system. Please visit Sunshine Beach SLSC Portal and follow the easy guide to renew your (your family’s) memberships and other levy/hire requirements for the season. We would prefer if members could make their payment via EFT, as this avoids bank fees, however we have also provided a PayPal option. If you need further help with payments feel free to call Michelle Burnett in the Lifesaving Office (5447 5491), or pop in during office hours – Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. You will also need to log onto the SLSQ portal, to update any change to your personal details, and RENEW your membership (this is an extremely important step in the process) Simply LOG IN, click on Memberships, and hit RENEW. If you have no details to amend, complete the confirmation and hit SUBMIT. Please ensure each member of your family is updated. DO NOT MAKE YOUR PAYMENT IN THIS AREA. Please use the SUNSHINE BEACH SLSC PORTAL FOR ALL FINANCIAL TRANSATIONS. (link above). Members 18 and over, please make sure you hold a current Blue Card . this must be completed at time of membership renewal. Check with the Lifesaving Admin for help or fill the forms which can be downloaded from the WEBSITE.

APPLY FOR A BLUE CARD
All members 18 years and over are required to hold a Blue Card (working with children check). Please submit your completed blue card form to club reception. You will need to show your ID when you do this.
Our volunteer Lifesavers patrol every weekend and on Public Holidays from the September school holidays until the end of April. Patrol hours are from 7.00am to 5.00pm with extended hours to 6.00pm through the busy Christmas period.
Lifeguards patrol the beach at all other times.

The cost involved in putting our patrols on the beach is enormous and our Lifesavers could not provide the services they do without community support.
